Watch Lindisfarne Castle live on our Holy Island webcam!
You can save a snapshot to your computer at any time (desktop only: click on the camera icon on the bottom-right of the screen). Feel free to share on Facebook/Twitter etc.
Why is the camera zoomed in sometimes?
In the summer months and school holidays, the webcam is zoomed in, so we don’t broadcast the playground in the overflow car park.
About this camera
This live camera of Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island is usually set to a wide angle so you can view the big skies at sunrise and bird murmurations in season. Sometimes (for fun), we zoom in on the Castle, or change the angle for your viewing enjoyment…You can also read our information about visiting Lindisfarne Castle.
On sunny mornings, the camera might get the sun in its eye, and will show a bit of glare. It’s also very dark here on moonless nights, so you might not see very much at night, apart from flying things, attracted by the camera’s infra-red light.
You can set the picture to full screen by clicking on the ‘expand’ icon at the bottom-right hand of the video.
