Finding your lost property on Holy Island
If you’ve lost something on Holy Island (Lindisfarne), unfortunately there is not a single place you can contact, but you can do the following to see if your property has been found:
1. Ring the following, which are the most common places where lost property is handed in:
Holy Island post office (01289 389 271)
Lindisfarne Priory (01289 389 200)
Heritage Centre (01289 389 004)
2. Post about your missing item in the Holy Island Facebook group.
A good proportion of Holy Island villagers and thousands of visitors are members, so there’s a good chance that if someone came across it, they’ll be on the group.
